A new energy-sipping beverage company is rolling its own versions of some of the most popular drink brands in the world.
Starbucks, which has been pushing for its own drink brands for years, is launching its own version of the energy drink Mojo, and is also working on a new energy bar and energy drink called Palma.
Mojito is a blend of coconut water and pineapple juice, with flavors like citrus, grapefruit and lime.
The new drinks come as Starbucks has begun experimenting with its own flavor and marketing campaigns, which include a new video called “Ski Safari” and a new ad campaign that is slated to run this summer.
The energy drink companies have spent years battling the FDA, which had barred their products from being sold on grocery store shelves.
The drinks have been a top selling item in Starbucks stores since 2008, when the chain introduced its first energy drink.
The drinks have remained popular even as they have become more expensive, with the average price of a 12-ounce Mojo drink now $1.49, according to Nielsen data.
The company has said it plans to roll out new Mojo flavors in the coming weeks.
Mango Energy Drink has been the top-selling energy drink in Starbucks’ stores since 2007, according a company spokesperson.
Its $1 bar costs $8, while the 12-oz.
Mojo costs $9.
Milo Energy Drink was the top energy drink brand in Starbucks shops in 2013, according an online report by consumer research firm Mintel.

The Mojo has an 11-ounce container and is available in three flavors: mango, pineapple and lemon.
Mocha Energy Drink is a citrus-flavored Mojo that comes in 12 oz containers.
The company says the drink is the second-most popular energy drink among millennials in the U.S.
Macho Energy Drink comes in two flavors: orange and grapefruit.MEGA Energy Drink, made with mango juice and pineapple, is available at Starbucks in a 1 oz. can.
The Energy Drink bar costs just $4 and is the most expensive energy drink on the market, Mintel said.
The 12-inch version is the cheapest, at $8.
Mintel said the Mojo bars sold at least 9.2 million in the first quarter.
