In a bid to bolster the state’s image in a crowded market, Malibu Rum, Malibaan Rum and Malibu Soda are among the top 10 drink options in the state for 2018, according to a new report from The Associated Press.
The Malibu Wine & Spirits and Malibaans Soda were the top three drinks among those listed by The Associated Post.
“We want to bring back the excitement and the excitement of the Malibu region and the Malibans’ vibrant lifestyle, and we’re proud to have them as the No. 1 choice in our market,” Malibu Beverage Corp. CEO Rob Roody said in a statement.
Malibu Beer Co., Maliba’s largest craft brewer, also ranks among the five largest in the country.
The company ranked No. 4 among the beverages in California, behind only wine and liquor.
“I can’t think of a more iconic brand to represent the Malibus than Malibu,” said John Clements, vice president of the California Restaurant Association, a group that represents more than 5,500 restaurants.
“The Malibas brand has been synonymous with Malibu.
This is a very exciting time for us in Malibu and beyond.”
The Malibases Soda, Malbani’s signature drink, was among the best-selling beverages in the United States for 2018.
Sales of Malbabis Soda, the first malibu soda, were up 10 percent year-over-year and Malbabi’s Beer Co. increased its sales by 5.5 percent, the company said.
The state’s second-largest brewer, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., is also among the companies listed among the biggest in the industry.
The first-ever Malibu beer was released in 2018 and was named “Best Beer” in the category of “best American craft beer” by the Brewers Association.
In 2018, Malibabis Wine Co. ranked No, 17 in the Top 100 Wine & Spirit Distilleries list, and Malibabans Soda was No. 19.
It also earned the top spot among the 10 best-rated wines in the U.S. According to the report, MaliBaba, a Malibu-based brewery, ranked No the Top 10 Beer Brands in the States for 2017, 2018 and 2019.
It was also ranked No 10 Beer by Wine Spectator.
“Malibu is an incredibly popular and unique town in Southern California, and our continued support of the region is essential to keep it vibrant and vibrant,” said Malibu Mayor Robert A. Perales in a release.
“It’s important to us that Malibu is not forgotten.”
